  Making the Right Choice in the Fast Food Lane  
 

Process 1:

You need to pick THREE of your favourite fast food restaurants in town and compare the calories and fat content of their foods of the same category.

Examples: french fries, salads, hamburgers, beverages, etc.


Process 2:

Enter the data of the food items you collect from the 3 different restaurants into a simple worksheet (sample provided). You will need this worksheet for Process 3 to develop a statistical graph.

Use the following websites to calculate calorie and fat content of the selected food items:

Process 3:

Compare the products in the three fast food restaurants, using a graph. Decide which restaurant has the least fatten food among others. Write an article with your findings and present your ideas and thoughts using a fun and innovative way to the Primary 5 students.
